Setting the parameters of the HART Multiplexers

6.6.1

Parameterizing parameters off-line

Adjust the parameter of the Master



Double-Click in the project window with mouse button on Multiplexer.



Open the

Master

menu.



The

Master

window is indicated.

The following parameters are adjustable:
•

RS485 address

: The RS485 address of the HART Multiplexer is set here.

•

Long-Address

: The distinct unchangeable long address of the HART Multiplexer

is set here.

•

Master-Type

: One HART loop may include two Masters whereby the

parameterization has to be set to differentiate between primary Master and

secondary Master. These settings have to be carried out here.
