Turn on your Macintosh.

Turn off your camera and use the USB cable to connect
your camera and your Macintosh.

Confirm that an SD Memory Card is inserted into your camera.

Turn your camera on.

Your camera is recognized on the desktop as [NO_NAME (or the volume
label of the SD Memory Card if one is registered)].
You can change the folder name.
When the iPHOTO screen appears, close it.

Connecting the Camera and Macintosh

For Mac OS 9.0, it is recognized as [Untitled (or the volume label of the SD
Memory Card if one is registered)].
