8. STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
8.1. STORAGE
• Switch off the tool (see Section 5.1.2, “Stopping the tool”).
• Disconnect the battery (see Section 4.7, “Disconnecting the battery”).
• Store the battery (refer to the battery operating instructions).
• Store the tool in a safe place, out of reach of children and unauthorized persons.
Important
• In the event of prolonged storage, grease the output shaft of the angle gear (refer to Section 6.5, “Angle
gear lubrication”).
• Always make sure the tool is clean and its battery is charged before storing it.
• The Brush cutter Excelion 2 LH must be stored away from heat, dust and humidity at an ambient temperature
between 0° C and 40° C.
• The machine and the battery must be stored in their original packaging, in a dry place and out of the reach
of children.
8.1.1. TOOL STORAGE POSITION
1. Stop the tool (refer to Section 5.1.2, “Stopping the
tool”).
2. Disconnect the battery from the tool (refer to Sec-
tion 4.7, “Disconnecting the battery”).
3. Store the Brush cutter and the cutting tools in their
original packaging or place the assembly in the
transport bag (refer to Section 9.3, “Other acces-
sories”).
Important
It is compulsory to use the carrying bag when
the brush cutter is equipped with a cutting head
with blade. Risk of injury.
4. Put the battery back in its original packaging.
8.2. TRANSPORTING THE TOOL
Important
• Never carry the machine or the battery by the power cord.
• Switch off the tool (see Section 5.1.2, “Stopping the tool”).
• Disconnect the battery (see Section 4.7, “Disconnecting the battery”).
• Put the tool in the storage position.
• Make sure that the packed machine and battery are properly secured in the transport vehicle.
