4. COMMISSIONING
4.1. PACKAGE CONTENTS
Check that the Brush cutter Excelion 2 DH is delivered with:
• 1 side plate of the carrying kit to be fitted on the
harness.
• 1 force / balancing return strap from the carrying kit
to be fitted on the harness.
• 1 safety guard
• 1 Excelion 2 DH special key
• 1 TORX 25 wrench
• 1 kit for blades
• 1 Operating instructions manual
4.2. FITTING / DISMOUNTING OF THE HANDLE ON THE BRUSH CUTTER
Attention
Before any intervention on the tool, stop the machine completely and disconnect the battery. To
consult the procedure for switching off your tool, refer to Section 5.1.2, « Stopping the tool ».
4.2.1. MOUNTING THE HANDLE ON THE TOOL
The handle adjustment knob (2) comprises two threads
(marks A and B) and an unthreaded central part.
Fitted on the tool, this double thread works like a captive
screw.
1. Carefully remove the tool from its packing box.
2. Place the tool on a flat, stable and clean surface.
As the adjustment knob (2) is already installed on the
tool support when it comes out of the box, it must be
removed to be able to position the handle module.
3. Unscrew the handle adjustment knob (2) until the
first "click". This means that the first thread (mark A)
is unscrewed.
4. Pull on the adjustment knob while unscrewing. This
will allow the second thread to be unscrewed (mark
B).
