BATTERY INSTALLATION
1.
Remove lens housing by turning counter-clockwise.
2.
Remove the lamp module.
3.
Remove used batteries and replace with fresh bat end up.
4.
Replace the lamp module.
5.
Replace lens housing squarely on threads and turn clockwise while
slightly pressing on the lens housing.
ON/OFF
Turn the lens housing clockwise until light activates. To turn light off,
back lens housing off counter-clockwise until light goes off. Continue to BACK
OFF FOR APPROXIMATELY 1 FULL TURN TO ELIMINATE POSSIBILITY OF LIGHT
ACTIVATING ACCIDENTALLY IN STORAGE. Do not overtighten.
LAMP REPLACEMENT
To replace the lamp module follow steps in the battery installation section as
listed above: To remove lamp module follow steps #1 and #2. To replace lamp
module follow steps #4 and #5.
CAUTION:
If light is not to be used for some time, remove batteries to prevent possible
leakage and corrosion.
LENS DISC INSTALLATION
The colored discs are designed to enable the flashlight to be used without
affecting night vision. The discs fit inside the flashlight in between the lamp
module and the inside of the clear lens cover.
To Install:
1.
Remove the lens cover.
2.
Place the colored disc inside the lens cover.
3.
Refit the lens cover.
HYDROGEN GAS ABSORBER
Internal catalyst pellets, located on the lamp, are there to help absorb hydrogen
gas that could possibly be emitted by defective, leaking, reversed polarity or
heavily discharged batteries. If the pellets become lost or damaged, replace lamp
immediately. If pellets become wet, let them air dry. Pelican Products assumes
no liability for any brand of batteries which are defective or cause injury to any-
one when used in any Pelican flashlight.
SCUBA DIVING APPLICATION
(Follow these instructions whenever you replace the batteries)
Check closely for cuts, scratches, or an otherwise damaged o-ring or mating lens
lip surface as this can cause the light to flood under pressure. Remove any salt
deposits, sand, dirt, or other foreign matter from the o-ring sealing surfaces.
KEEP THE THREADS, O-RING GROOVE AND INSIDE LIP OF LENS LUBRICATED
WITH SILICONE GREASE.

INSTALACIÓN DE PILAS
1.
Quite el bastidor de la lente haciéndolo girar en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj.
2.
Quite el módulo de bombilla.
3.
Quite las pilas usadas y reemplácelas con pilas nuevas, con el polo + hacia arriba.
4.
Vuelva a colocar el módulo de bombilla.
5.
Coloque el bastidor de la lente sobre la rosca y gírelo en sentido de las
agujas del reloj mientras efectúa una presión leve sobre la misma.
ENCENDIDO/APAGADO
Gire el bastidor de la lente en sentido de las agujas del reloj hasta que se encienda la
linterna. Para apagar la linterna, gire el bastidor de la lente en sentido contrario a las
agujas del reloj hasta que se apague la linterna. Continúe GIRANDO EN TAL SENTIDO
APROXIMADAMENTE UNA VUELTA COMPLETA PARA ELIMINAR LA POSIBILIDAD
DE QUE LA LINTERNA SE ACTIVE ACCIDENTALMENTE MIENTRAS ESTÁ FUERA DE
USO. No apretar en exceso.
REEMPLAZO DE LA BOMBILLA
Para reemplazar el módulo de bombilla siga los pasos indicados en la sección para la
instalación de pilas, tal como se indica a continuación: Para quitar el módulo de bombilla
siga los pasos 1 y 2. Para reemplazar el módulo de bombilla siga los pasos 4 y 5.
ATENCIÓN
Si no se piensa utilizar la linterna durante algún tiempo, quite las pilas para impedir
cualquier fuga o corrosión.
INSTALACIÓN DE DISCOS PARA LENTE
Los discos de colores fueron diseñados para permitir el uso de la linterna sin afectar
la visión nocturna. Los discos caben dentro de la linterna, entre el módulo de la
bombilla y el interior de la cubierta transparente de la lente.
Para instalar:
1.
Retire la cubierta de la lente.
2.
Coloque el disco de color dentro de la cubierta de la lente.
3.
Vuelva a colocar la cubierta de la lente.
