OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS CAT. #2300
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1.
Remove lens and cover by turning counter-clockwise.
2.
Remove the lamp module.
3.
Remove used batteries and replace with fresh bat ends up.
4.
Replace the lamp module.
5.
Replace lens housing squarely on threads and turn clockwise while pressing on the lens cover slightly.
ON/OFF
Turn the lens housing clockwise until light activates. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. To turn light off, back lens housing off counter-clock-
wise until light goes off. Continue to back off for approximately 1 full turn to eliminate possibility of light activating accidentally in storage.

Explosion Hazard - Batteries must only be changed and/or charged in non-hazardous locations.
LAMP REPLACEMENT
To remove lamp module follow steps #1 and #2. To replace lamp module follow steps #4 and #5.
CAUTION:
If light is not to be used for some time, remove batteries to prevent possible leakage and corrosion.
O-RING MAINTENANCE
Check closely for cuts, scratches, or otherwise damaged O-ring or mating lens lip surface. Remove any
dirt or foreign matter from O-ring sealing surfaces. Keep threads, O-ring groove and inside lip of lens lubricated with silicone grease.

HYDROGEN GAS ABSORBER
Internal catalyst pellets, located in the module, are there to help absorb hydrogen gas that could
possibly be emitted by defective, leaking, reversed polarity or heavily discharged batteries. If thepellets become lost or damaged, replace them
immediately. If pellets become wet, let them air dry or replace. Pelican Products assumes no liability for any brand batteries which are defective or
cause injury to anyone when used in any Pelican flashlight.
Do not mix battery brands or use Nicad or Zinc Carbon batteries or old/new batteries.

number from Pelican Customer Service prior to returning any product. In the event that Pelican determines that any returned product is not defective,
within the terms of this warranty, the purchaser shall pay Pelican all costs of handling, transportation and repairs at Pelican’s prevailing rates.
All warranty claims of any nature are barred if the flashlight has been altered, damaged or in any way physically changed, or subjected to abuse, misuse,
negligence or accident.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. Lifetime Guarantee does not cover Roto

INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO NO. DE CAT. 2300
INSTALACION DE LAS PILAS
1.
Retire el lente y la cubierta girándola en sentido contrario de las agujas del reloj.
2.
Retire el módulo de la bombilla.
3.
Retire las pilas usadas y coloque las pilas nuevas con el polo + hacia arriba.
4.
Vuelva a colocar el módulo de la bombilla.
5.
Vuelva a colocar el bastidor de el lente sobre la rosca y gire en el sentido de las agujas del reloj al
mismo tiempo que ejerce un poco de presión sobre el mismo.
ENCENDIDO / APAGADO
La luz se enciende girando el bastidor de el lente en el sentido de las agujas del reloj. Para apagarla, gire
en sentido opuesto hasta que se apague la luz. Siga girando aproximadamente una vuelta completa para eliminar la posibilidad de que la luz se
encienda por error al estar guardada. NO APRIETE DEMASIADO.
ATENCIÓN:
No abrir la linterna en una zona peligrosa.
ADVERTENCIA:
Peligro de explosión - La sustitución de componentes puede afectar a la idoneidad de su uso en zonas potencialmente explosivas

REEMPLAZO DE LA BOMBILLA
Para retirar el módulo de la bombilla, siga los pasos No. 1 y 2.
Para cambiar el módulo de la bombilla, siga los pasos No. 4 y 5.
PRECAUCION:
Si no se va a usar la linterna por algún tiempo, retire las pilas para evitar la posibilidad que ocurra una fuga y corrosión.

MANTENIMIENTO DE LA JUNTA TÓRICA
Inspeccione atentamente la junta tórica y la superficie del labio de contacto de el lente en busca de cortes, arañazos u otro tipo de daños.
Limpie cualquier suciedad o cuerpo extraño de las superficies de contacto de la junta tórica. Mantenga las roscas, la ranura de la junta tórica y
el labio interior de el lente lubricados con grasa de silicona. Consulte en la Garantía la información sobre sustitución de la junta tórica.
