4.3.3
Setting Parameters for Upstream Modbus TCP/IP
1.
On the SETUP scr
een press the “Modbus Setup” button.

Enter User ID and Password
and press the “Modbus Setup” button again.

From the CHANGE ACTIVE CONTROLLER screen, select “
Modbus Master
” so it is highlighted, and
press “Settings” button. The screen will show Modbus setti
ngs like those in Table 1.
4.
To change from RS422 to Ethernet, change the “Communication” box under Routing from “Serial”
to “TCP” or vice versa.
5.
Press OK on Properties Box. (Scroll screen to see box if necessary.)
Touch each time and date field, then
increment or decrement.
Set backlight turn-off parameters and
screen brightness.
Set IP addresses or DHCP.
Use scroll boxes to set time zone and
language region.
Use the
Change Active Controllers
sub-screen
to switch from an RS422 network connection to
an Ethernet connection. This change is necessary
for upstream Modbus TCP/IP from the Local
Display.
Make sure that Modbus Master is checked then
click
Settings
. Settings will be listed as shown in
Table 1.
