How To…

Secure the w-lantv Network

Make sure an ad-hoc connection between the w-lan

Access Point and the PC

exists

Open the Configuration Utility and if needed log in.

Go to:

Wireless > Basic

From the

Encryption Type

dropdown-menu select the encryption type you

prefer.

We recommend you to select the encryption type:

WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK Mixed

and check both WPA Cipher Suites:

TKIP

and

CCMP

To be sure the recommended encryption type is supported please use the
delivered w-lan

11n Dongle.

Enter the further required data

Confirm your changes by clicking the

Apply

-button

The w-lan

Access Point will restart automatically.

This change affects any existing network connection to the w-lan

Access

Point. Please set up the network connection again.
