Getting started
4.1
Power supply
The counting scales can be directly powered by 110 V or 230 V supply voltage (cold-device cable).
It is also equipped with an internal rechargeable 4 V / 4 Ah battery.
4.2
First use
Take the counting scales out of the packaging and place it on a solid surface. When taking the
weighing plate out of the packaging, make sure that none of the four rubber seals remains inside
the packaging. The rubber seals are there to make sure the weighing surface lies stably on the
counting
scales
and
are
mounted
onto
the
plastic
guide
pins.
Before placing the weighing plate on the scales, align the counting scales by using the integrated
level
and
the
height-adjustable
feet.
Then place the plastic guide pins of the weighing plate into the holes designed for this purpose.
Power on the counting scales by means of the ON / OFF switch (right-hand side, at the bottom).
To achieve a good repeatability, it is recommended to load and unload the counting scales
several times so that the mechanical components reach operating temperature. A warm-up time
of approx. 20 minutes is also recommended for the electronics.
Before counting, write down the initial weight.
Possible weight indications must be set to zero by pressing either the ZERO or the TARE key.
