Data logger
The internal memory of the device can save up to 1,800 values. (Each item selected in M50 is
considered a value). To set or start the logger, do the follow ing:
(1) Via w indow M51, you can set the start time, the saving interval and the run time. This means
that measurements can be taken for a maximum of 24 hours.
(2) Window M52 is used to determine w here data are saved. According to the standard setting,
the data are saved to the device. You can also transfer the data directly to the RS-232 / USB
interface w ithout saving them to the internal memory.
(3) Via w indow M50, you can set the logger and select the values you w ould like to save.
You can view the saved data via w indow M53.
You can read out the saved data from the buffer via the RS-232 / USB interface and delete the internal
memory using the functions in w indow M52.
To transfer data to a computer, you w ill need the softw are SOFT-PCE-TDS.

Calibration
There is a (calibration) factor betw een the real flow velocity and the flow velocity displayed by the
device. This calibration factor can be determined by carrying out a calibration. How ever, you will need
flow calibration equipment to do so.

Error m essages after switching on
The device runs a self-diagnostic programme w hen sw itched on. This diagnostic programme is
supposed to find hardw are errors. The follow ing chart shows possible error messages.
