1. Plug the green surveyor bridge into its power supply or a convenient USB computer port
with the cable provided. The Green power LED will illuminate. The Status LED's will flash to
confirm that a signal is being transmitted.
2. Place the surveyor bridge at the location where you intend to install an Ethernet/USB bridge.
3. Take the test card to the location where you will be installing the wireless Paxton control unit.
4. Press and hold the button on the test card for at least 15 seconds to ensure a good sample
of the signal strength.
5. Providing all LED's light up, it is a suitable location to install the equipment. If not, a new
location should be found and checked until all the LED's are lit.
Note: If the layout or properties of a site change at any point from the point of surveying
and installing the equipment, a further test should be carried out.

To replace the battery, remove the screw, insert a flat blade tool into the slotted end (see label
on card) and twist. The two halves of the case will separate. Replace the battery, clip the two
halves together again and secure with the screw.
