MAINTENANCE AND CARE
AIR FILTER
•
An air filter fouled with dust reduces engine power,
increases fuel consumption and allows abrasive
particles to enter the engine.
The interval between
air filter cleaning is 8-10 operating hours.Push
down the latch and open the filter cover. Release
the air filter cover and remove the filter insert.Light
dust settled on the filter inset surface can easily be
removed by tapping or blowing the filter insert.
Thick dust must be removed by washing the filter
insert using a suitable detergent.
CARBURETTOR
Do not adjust the carburettor unless it is necessary. If you experience any problems with the
carburettor, contact your dealer. Improper carburettor settings can result in damage to the
engine and void the guarantee.
FUEL FILTER
•
The fuel tank is equipped with a fuel filter. This filter is installed at the end of the fuel hose
and can be removed through the filling opening using a bent wire or a similar tool.Check
the fuel filter on a regular basis. Prevent dirt or water entering the fuel tank. A clogged fuel
filter will cause poor engine starting and performance. If the fuel filter becomes clogged,
replace it.
•
If dirt enters the fuel tank, clean it by flushing it with gasoline.
SPARK PLUG
•
Never remove the spark plug when the engine is hot. Otherwise, there is a risk of damage
to the threads.
Spark plug type: NHSP LD L8RTF, CHAMPION RCJ7Y or NGK BPMR7A
GEARBOX
•
Every 30 operating hours, remove the screw and check the
condition of the lubricant. If necessary, add lubricant. Use only
quality molybdenum bisulphite-based lubricants (e.g., Mogul
LV2-M).
