- protect your eyes with a protective mask with a UV-resistant anti-UV filter;
- use only suitable, highly inflammable clothing.
HAZARD OF HARMFUL GASES AND EVAPORATIONS
- the resulting smoke and harmful gases must be removed from the working
area with special means;
- it is necessary to ensure an adequate supply of fresh air;
- solvent vapors should not fall into the welding arc radiation zone.
THE DANGER OF SPARKS
- remove flammable objects from the working area;
- welding work on tanks in which gases, fuel, and petroleum products are
stored or were stored is not allowed. Danger of explosion of these products
residues;
- in fire-hazardous and explosive areas, please, comply with special rules, in
accordance with national and international standards.
DANGER OF VOLTAGE SUPPLY AND ARC CURRENT
- electric shock can be fatal;
- The magnetic fields created by high-frequency current can have a negative
effect on the performance of electrical appliances (for example, a pacemaker).
Persons using such devices should consult a physician before approaching the
welding site;
- The welding cable must be strong, intact and insulated. Loose connections
and damaged cable should be replaced immediately. The mains and welding
machine cables must be systematically checked by an electrician for proper
insulation;
- during use it is prohibited to remove the outer casing of the machine.
INFORMAL PRECAUTIONS
- the instruction should be kept near the welding machine using place;
- in addition to the instructions, please, observe the applicable general and
local safety and environmental regulations;
- please, keep all indications on the welding machine in a readable state.
STRAY ARC CURRENT
- make sure that the ground terminal is firmly attached to the welding place;
- if possible, do not install the welding machine directly on an electrically
conductive floor covering or desktop, use insulating gaskets.
PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES UNDER NORMAL CONDITIONS
At least once a week you should check the machine for external damage and
the functioning of safety devices.
