Manual Control
The front panel view of the Switch System is shown in the above figure.
On the front of the switch are the following controls and indicators:
•
A, B Indicators
– Red LED’s indicate the position of the unit.
o
The LED indicates the position of the switch.
o
If the front panel control is locked and any pushbutton
is pressed, both position LED’s will light until the
pushbutton is released.
o
During the power up routine, the LED’s will cycle
incrementally. This will continue for approximately 5
seconds (10 seconds when the Remote Ethernet
Reset has been initiated). Upon completion, the
LED’s will display the present position and be ready
for operation.
•
A, B Pushbuttons
– The position front panel pushbuttons allow
the switch position to be changed.
o
Depressing and releasing the pushbutton for a
position allows the user to switch the unit to that
position.
o
Depressing and holding a pushbutton for a period of
10 seconds will toggle the Mode of Operation. The
user must release the pushbutton before another
toggle of the Mode of Operation occurs again.
o
When in a Group, pressing and releasing the
pushbutton for a position switches all connected
channels in this Group to that position.
