INSTALLATION GUIDE
The boiler must be installed in compliance with all local regulations, including those
referring to national and European rules. Carrying out installation according to the
instructions of good technique and Standard UNI 10683 (Heat generators fed with wood or
with other solid biomass fuels). Installation requirements).
PRELIMINARY CHECKS BEFORE INSTALLING
Some rules to follow for installation and use are listed. These are fundamental for safety:
Make sure the room where the boiler is installed is suitable and the minimum
ventilation openings are present, according to the applicable laws, or, at least,
sufficient to have a perfect combustion.
Do not place inflammable containers or substances near the boiler.
Do not connect the earth cables of the boiler to the water system. Connect them to
the earthing system of the building where the boiler is installed.
It is recommended to keep children and inexpert people away from the hot parts of
the boiler (door, glass, etc.), which could cause burns.
In case of fire in the fireplace, manually turn off the boiler, as described in par. IV.6.
In case of fault, repeated stops or boiler block, do not insist with manual reset procedures, but
disconnect the device without performing any repair or direct intervention.
The boiler must be exclusively repaired by the Manufacturer or by an Authorised Technical
Centre or by Professionally Qualified personnel, using only original spare parts.
Before installing the boiler, it is necessary to define its location and check that:
the machine to be installed is suitable for the system it will be fitted on;
the volume of the room where it will be installed is not smaller than 60 m3;
it is possible to easily fit the flue and the external air intake. It is generally
preferable to install the boiler on external perimeter walls (or next to them), where it
is easier to create air intakes and to carry out the connection with the flue. In case
an existing flue is used, it is necessary to check that its size, material and
construction are suitable to be used with a boiler (it is usually preferable to duct old
brick flues);
it is possible to place the heating system pipes;
the support base has a load bearing capacity sufficient to bear the weight of the
boiler during its operation. In case it is not, the support base must be structurally
adapted before installing the boiler;
the rear and side wall and the base under and around the boiler are made of non-
flammable materials or are covered in protection materials;
It is advisable not to install the boiler in very narrow spaces, so that those
intervening on the machine can access the internal parts for any maintenance
needed or malfunctioning.
Always install the stove slightly inclined forward, in order to prevent pellet from
accumulating on the slide leading to the brazier (to do this, use the boiler's
adjustable feet).
Do not place the boiler in environments where other heating equipment is installed,
having the combustion air outlet in the same room
.
