Improving Response Time

If the response time or reproducibility is decreasing, follow the steps below to improve response
time.

Remove then reinstall the rubber stopper. Do not close the stopper; the stopper should remain
open during operation and closed when in storage.

Confirm that the inner solution exudes from the opening.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 several times. If performance does not improve, do one of the following,
as appropriate:

• Remove dirt: wipe off with a soft cloth soaked with a neutral detergent.

• Remove oil residue: wipe off with a soft cloth soaked with an appropriate organic solvent,

such as acetone or alcohol.

• Remove inorganic substances: rinse with approximately lN HCl. Do not immerse the elec-

trode in a concentrated acid for a long time.

Size Flow Cell

This section describes how to maintain the Size Flow Cell. This cell is used when an AutoTitrator
is connected to the analyzer.

Luer fitting

A cell holder is not included in the Size Flow Cell. Use the Cell holder for a normal size cell.
