Purging the System

HPVA Series Operator’s Manual

14. When the system reaches full vacuum, open the isolation valve on the sample holder by turning it

completely counterclockwise.

completely counterclockwise

15. Plug the temperature probe cable into the connector on the instrument.

16. Insert the temperature probe into the temperature control vessel.

17. Add the appropriate liquid to the temperature control vessel until the level reaches about ½ inches

from the top.

18. Double-click the Bath icon and set the circulating bath controller to the desired temperature.
