• The device must be switched off before:

defective or strongly worn-out cutting
unit.
• Hold the hedge trimmer with both
hands correctly. Always use both hands
when the hedge trimmer is equipped
with two handles.
• If the hedge trimmer is taken out of
operation for purposes of maintenance,
inspection or storage, turn the hedge
trimmer off, remove the battery and
make absolutely sure that all rotating
parts have come to a standstill. Let the
machine cool down before you check
or adjust it, etc.
• Always let the hedge trimmer cool
down before you put it into storage.
• Ensure that the device is
switched off before inserting
the battery.
Inserting a battery into
a power tool that is switched on may
result in accidents.
• Recharge the batteries indoors
only because the battery charg-
er is designed for indoor use
only.

and fumes may be emitted that
irritate the respiratory tract.
Ensure fresh air and seek medical as-
sistance in the event of discomfort. Af-
ter eye/skin contact, rinse the affected
areas with water or a neutraliser and
consult a doctor.
