Insert the insertion tool in the tool holder.
Note:
You can attach the insertion tools in the
tool holder in any lock-in position.
Tighten the tool by pushing the lever

down
again.
Check the insertion tool is firmly seated.
Incorrectly or not securely attached insertion
tools can release during use, causing injuries.
Initial use
On / Off switch
Switching on:
Slide the ON / OFF switch forward to switch
on the tool.
The LED light

comes on when switched on
and lights up the work area in poor lighting
conditions.
Note:
The LED light

will stay on for an
additional approx. 10 seconds after switching
off the tool (ON/OFF switch

released).
Switching off:
Slide the ON/OFF switch

back to switch
off the tool.
Setting The Oscillation Speed
Use the oscillation speed adjustment wheel

to set the oscillation speed.
Setting 1:
low oscillation speed
Setting 6:
high oscillation speed
Note:
The oscillation speed required
varies by material and working conditions and
can be determined with tests.
Cleaning and maintenance
RISK OF INJURY!
Always switch the tool off and remove the
battery before working on the tool.
Do not use sharp objects to clean the tool.
Never allow any liquids to enter the tool. The
tool may otherwise be damaged.
Routinely clean the tool, preferably promptly
after use.
Clean the housing with a dry cloth. Never use
petrol, solvents, or cleaning agents which
damage plastic.
Use a vacuum to deep clean the tool.
The vents must always be clear.
Use a brush to remove dust clinging to the tool.
When storing a lithium-ion rechargeable
battery for extended periods, regularly check
the battery charge. The optimal battery charge
is between 50 % and 80 %. The optimal
storage conditions are cool and dry.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of
recyclable materials, which you may
dispose of at local recycling facilities. The
Green Dot is not valid for Germany.

are marked with abbreviations (a) and
numbers (b) with following meaning:
1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and
fibreboard / 80–98: composite
materials.
The product and packaging materials are
recyclable, dispose of it separately for
better waste treatment. The Triman logo
is valid in France only.
