Dynamic Braking Resistors

The AC30V unit must be fitted with external braking resistors if braking is required
.
Wiring Details
WARNING
Do not apply
external voltage sources (mains supply
or otherwise) to any of the braking terminals: DB+,
DB. This can lead to damage to the drive and
installation, and risk to personnel.
Internal Filter Disconnection
WARNING
Ensure that all wiring is electrically isolated and cannot be made “live”
.
Do not touch filter terminals or cabling for at least 3 minutes after removing the ac supply.
