GigE2 Ports

The GigE2 port is used to cascade other BitStorm 2400 units to connect to the
WAN.

NOTE:

GigE2 fiber and copper ports are mutually exclusive; only one can be in use at
a time.

Procedure

To connect the GigE2 fiber port:

1. Insert the SFP transceiver in the designated port facing downward. Plug the

fiber cable into the cable socket of the transceiver.

CAUTION:

Equipment damage may result if SFP is inserted incorrectly. The SFP
must be inserted facing downward as shown.
