Device Operation

Creating Macros

A macro is a series of steps or instructions that perform a certain task. This section will cover creating a macro by

combining the commands that were created in the previous section with some default LED commands.

1. Click the

Macro Settings

tab.

2.

Move the mouse over Button 1, in the upper-left corner, as shown.

Notice that a pop-up appears over the button. The information contained within the pop-up are the current

macro settings for the button and will change, depending upon the button function. Currently, this button

doesn’t perform any function. However, for this example, we will create a macro to toggle power on the

connected display, using the power-on and power-off commands. The power macro will be assigned to Button

1.
