CHARACTERISTICS OF THE EXTRACTION CONDUIT ACCORDING TO MOTOR TYPE

NOTES:

Limit the number of curves in the conduit, as
each curve reduces suction efficacy:

• In Ø150 mm one 90º bend = 1m linear.
• In Ø200 mm one 90º bend = 2.5m linear.

Example: If two 90º bends are used, the total
length of a conduit of 3m linear Ø150mm
(3+1+1), is 5m.

Example: If two 90º bends are used, the total
length  of  a  conduit  of  3m  linear  Ø200  mm
(3+2.5+2.5),  is  8m.  The  values  indicated
derive  from  tests  conducted  in  laboratory
conditions.  Depending  on  the  model  and
characteristics of each hood, they could vary
significantly.
