If any cables for the head–controller are broken because of the usage conditions and installation environment, they need to
be replaced.

7-3 Obtaining Backup Data
Obtain and keep a backup of data registered in the laser marker periodically using the Laser Marker NAVI smart in case of
replacing laser markers for repairing and maintaining purposes.

Steps for obtaining backup data (Daily maintenance)
1.
Establish an online connection between your PC and the laser marking system.
2.
Go to the “Data management” screen and select “Backup” in the ribbon.
3.
Specify the name and storage destination for a backup file.
4.
A dialog for entering a comment for the backup file is displayed. Enter a comment if necessary and select OK.
Select “Save” to save the backup file.
