7-2-3 Air filter
The air filter is placed in the air-cooling intake vent of this product. (2 filters on the head, 1 filter on the controller)

Effect from deterioration
The air filter soiled with dust may reduce the cooling effect of the air-cooling fan. This may cause the marking performance
to degrade, or failure of the laser marker.

Replacement interval
• There is a broken part, or contamination.

Replacement cycle setting
You can set the function to announce the replacement period for the filter with Laser Marker NAVI smart. When you turn
ON the announcement setting for regular maintenance for the air filter on the "Maintenance" screen, the announcement
function is activated and MAINTENANCE OUT (Y13) of the I/O terminal turns ON at the maintenance due date. Also a “!”
symbol is displayed on the “Maintenance” screen of Laser Marker NAVI smart.

Establish an online connection between your PC and the laser marking system. Go to the "Maintenance screen" -
"Operating data" tab.

Check the setting of the "Air filter replacement" in the "Announcement for regular maintenance".
• Specify the replacement cycle based on the controller operating time (operating of the laser marking system). In the
initial setting, maintenance is announced every 300 hours of controller operating time.
• If you clear the check box of the "Announcement", the announcement by the output of MAINTENANCE OUT (Y13)
will be canceled.
3.
If you want to change the maintenance cycle, select "Change" and
specify the maintenance cycle based on the controller operating time.
4.
Select "OK". The time of "Next maintenance" is updated.
