Feature Ref. Automated Attendant Service
Description Allows the caller to reach the desired extension or mailbox by entering the
first three or four letters of the extension owner’s last name. The VPS will
play the possible names among the Subscribers and ask the caller if it is the
desired party one after another.
The caller should enter [#] [1] and press the corresponding buttons. For
example, to call Mr. Smith, enter [#] [1] and [7] [6] [4] [8] for [S] [M] [I]
[T].
Each digit of the telephone keypad (touch-tone telephone only) corresponds
to alphabetical characters as follows.
Note: To enter the letter Q, press [7].
To enter the letter Z, press [9].
Conditions This feature is not available if the extension owner’s last name was not
registered by the System Administrator or the System Manager beforehand.
