Note:

If there is a handset that is not compatible
with Eco Plus registered to the base unit,

is not available. If that
handset is registered while

was already selected, the setting changes

When there is another cordless phone in
use nearby, the base unit transmission
power may not be reduced. (KX-TGE822/
KX-TGE823)

When eco mode is set to
“
Eco Plus
”
,
there is a delay between when calls are
received and when the handset starts
ringing.

If the handset is registered to multiple base
units, the handset may not be able to make
or receive calls or communicate with the
base unit when the following conditions are
met.
– Eco mode is set to
“
Eco Plus
”
(page 16).
– Base unit selection is set to
“
Auto
”
(page 35).
In this case, place the handset near the
base unit, and change the setting to
“
Eco
”
or
“
Off
”
. Repeat for each base unit.

When eco mode is active, the range of the
base unit is reduced in standby mode.

If you set repeater mode to

On
”
(page 41):
– Eco mode is disabled.

”
,
battery usage time is shortened (page 13).
Low battery alert
This feature allows the unit to beep when the
battery needs charging.
When this feature is turned on, the unit notifies
you as follows.

When the handset is in standby mode:
– If the battery needs charging, the unit
beeps at the selected interval up to 3
times.
Note for handset:

At the end of each call, the unit displays a
large icon for a few moments to indicate the
battery level.
Setting low battery alert
To turn this feature on, select the desired alert
interval, or select
“
Off
”
to turn this feature off.
The default setting is
