R If the area code of the received telephone number is the same as yours, the area code may need to be
deleted before calling back. This may only apply to some areas.
1. Set the unit to the fax mode.
2. Mz /CALLER ID N
3. MCDN : Search from the recently received caller information.
R While displaying the desired caller information, press Mz /CALLER ID N repeatedly to change name/telephone
number information.
R Press dial key (0 to 9) or MG /Tone N to enter the editing mode and edit the telephone number if necessary.
Note:
R “ ” on the display means the call has already been viewed or answered. To stop viewing, press Mw /STOP N .
Erasing caller information

8.5.6 Junk fax prohibitor
If you subscribe to Caller ID service (page 79), this feature prevents fax reception from calls that do not show caller
information.
Additionally, the unit will not accept faxes originating from numbers that match the ones on a programmable junk fax
prohibitor list.
Important:
R This feature does not work if you receive faxes manually.
Activating the junk fax prohibitor

Storing undesired callers
You can register up to 20 undesired numbers from the Caller ID list (page 95) if you do not wish to receive faxes
from them.

JUNK LIST SET
” A M OK/SET N
3. MCDN : Display the party you do not want to receive faxes from. A M OK/SET N
4. Press Mw /STOP N repeatedly to exit.
