5. Scanning Instructions

This section describes the basic procedure to be followed in order to start scanning.
For more details, refer to the operating instructions of the application concerned.

With ISIS (when PixUtil is used)

First, set the scanning conditions. (Refer to

Functions and Configuration

)

Select [Scan Batch to File...] on the [File] menu. The [Scanned Document
Name] dialog box now appears.

3

Select the drive in which the file is to be created in the [Drives] list box, and
select the folder in the [Directories] box.

4

Specify the filename in the [File Name] edit box.

5

Specify the file type from the [List Files of Type] list box.

6

Set either the [Multi-page file] or [Use Naming Schema] check box to on.
[Multi-page file] is used when all the images are to be stored in one file. (It
cannot be used with some file types.)
[Use Naming Schema] is used when each image is to be stored in a separate
file.
