Charging the battery

Charge the battery before turning on the unit for the first time or after replacing the battery.

•

Charge the battery in environments with an ambient temperature of 5 °C to 35 °C. Charging may stop
if the environment is outside of this temperature range while charging.

•

The unit prevents overcharging of the battery by charging only when the remaining battery level is less
than approximately 95 % of its full capacity.

Connect the AC adaptor and the AC cord as shown below.

2.

Connect the AC adaptor to the unit, and then connect the AC plug to the AC outlet.

Confirming the battery level

The battery level is displayed in the status bar.

Battery level is 19 % or
less of a full charge

Turning the unit on and off

Turning the unit on

Press and hold the power button for more than 3 seconds.

Turning the unit off

1.

Press and hold the power button until the power options dialog is displayed.
