(According to the method for replacing the battery, after removing the battery cover,

Put the battery cover into the
remote control, and then
press on the middle position
of the battery cover until a
"click" is heard.
Replace the battery.
Put the battery into
place with facing
upward.
Pry the battery cover up
in the groove using a
flat-head screwdriver.
