No response from the Printer
Following message appears.
“There is no paper or cable is not
connected on the LPT1. Check the printer
cable or network connection, and/or add
paper, then, start again.”

Check if there is paper,
if not, add paper.

Check the connection of the parallel
interface cable.

When connecting to network, check the
status of the digital copier using map.
Screen font and printed fonts are different
The font type is wrong.

Check if the selected font is installed on
the PC.

Select “Always use TrueType” in the
printer driver font screen.
The character is not smooth.
Select outline font and not bit map font.
Different character, symbol from the
original is printed.
Check if the printer driver of the digital
copier is selected.
Font error message appears in the control
panel display.
Installed Font is wrong.
Re-install the correctly font.
Cannot print correctly
No print from the middle of 1st page, or
irregular image appears in the middle of
printing.
Printer memory is full. Install expansion
memory, or change the resolution to 300
dpi.
Fine line print cannot be obtained.

Select 600 dpi resolution.

Select the smoothing function for 1200
dpi.
