What is low-frequency muscle and nerve stimulation?
It is a type of physical therapy to help the body recover naturally from pain due to stiff muscles.
A weak electrical current (at low frequency) is passed through the body. The resultant stimulation
directly massages the muscles, calms excited nerves, and improves blood circulation.

How long should the massage be?

The basic treatment time for one position is approximately 15 minutes. If this time is
exceeded, the result may be detrimental.

How many places can be treated?

As many places as you desire can be treated in one day. However, please observe the limit
of 15 minutes for one position.

When should the treatment be done?

The treatment is ideally done after a bath. The body is warm and blood circulation
improves. Be sure to wipe off all perspiration and water from the skin before use.

Why are there instances when the device should not be used?

• During a fever: The illness may worsen.
• While menstruating: The treatment may interfere with the menstrual cycle and impair
health.
• During pregnancy or after giving birth: Hormones are not balanced.
• High blood pressure: The treatment would place an unreasonable load on the blood
vessels. In particular, the device must never be used on the head.

How do the benefits differ among the various types of stimulation such as tapping,
kneading, pressing, and rubbing?

Depending on the purpose, a frequency up to 1200 Hz can be used for the low-frequency
muscle and nerve stimulation. The characteristics are said to differ according to the
frequency as follows.
Low frequency characteristics:
Ideal for the relief of muscle aches and persistence of pain relief. The pumping action due
to muscular contraction improves blood circulation and the secretion of pain suppressing
substances increases. This product uses four low frequencies: 3-5 Hz (tapping), 40 Hz
(pressing), 50 Hz (kneading), and 83.3 Hz.
High frequency characteristics:
Muscular contraction is harder to attain and the stimulation feels weaker compared to the
low frequencies. The benefits include instant pain relief and the blocking of pain
transmission.
This product uses three frequencies: 100 Hz (rubbing), 120 Hz, and 1200 Hz.
