Recording Settings For Video
This section describes the settings used when video recording.
[System Frequency]
This changes the system frequency of videos that are recorded and played back.
The default setting is for the system frequency to be set to the TV broadcast system for the region where the camera was
bought.

[59.94Hz (NTSC)]
System frequency for regions using the NTSC broadcasting system
[50.00Hz (PAL)]
System frequency for regions using the PAL broadcasting system
[24.00Hz (CINEMA)]
System frequency for producing cinema film

After changing the setting, turn the camera off and on.

If you record using a system frequency that differs from the broadcasting system of your region, it may not be possible
for you to properly playback videos on your TV.

A video recorded with a system frequency different from the setting of [System Frequency] cannot be played back in the
camera.
[Rec. File Format]
Sets the recording file format of videos to be recorded.
[MENU/SET] [ ] [ ] Select [Rec. File Format]
[MP4]
This file format is suitable for playback on PCs.
[MOV]
This file format is suitable for image editing.

When [System Frequency] is set to [24.00Hz (CINEMA)], it is fixed to [MOV].
