To remove the trim plate (for Japanese Cars)
You may not be able to install this unit in some makes of
Japanese cars. In such a case, consult your dealer or profes-
sional installer.
To mount this unit on a Japanese car, first cut the 9 slits in
back of the trim plate with side-cut pliers, remove the trim
plate, then mount this unit.

3. After installation reconnect the nega-
tive (–) battery terminal.
