Security Measures
User Password is set when several people will be using this computer.
For example, the system administrator sets the Supervisor Password and the User
Password, and only advises the other users of the User Password. In this way, other users
can be restricted from changing the Setup Utility.

When the Supervisor Password has not been set, the User Password cannot be set.
Set the Supervisor Password if you have not done so (

To disable the User Password, start up the Setup Utility with the Supervisor Password

Run the Setup Utility. (

Using either the

key, select [Security].

key, select [Set User Password] and
press the
Enter
key.

Only when the User Password has been set:
Enter your password at [Enter Current Password] and press the
Enter
key.
