Adjustment for shooting
White balance adjustment
Adjust the white balance by shooting a white subject in 50% or more of the screen.
([SWITCH MODE] → [W/B BAL SETTING]) (Page 46)
The white balance adjustment may not function correctly when the signal level of white is 100% or more, or 50% or less.
Black balance adjustment
Adjust with light completely shut out, such as by putting the cap on the lens.
Genlock adjustment
The video signal output from the camera can be locked to the reference signal supplied from an external source.
This camera can receive the external reference signal from the <REF IN> terminal.

Coarsely adjust the phase of the synchronization signal input and the video signal output in [8K H PHASE-COARSE],
[4K H

Output images may be disrupted or interrupted while varying the setting values in the menus when adjusting the phase.

When [4320] is selected in [MAIN MENU] → [SYSTEM MODE] → [PIXEL], [8K H PHASE-COARSE] and [8K H PHASE-FINE] is enabled.

When [2160] is selected in [MAIN MENU] → [SYSTEM MODE] → [PIXEL], [4K H PHASE-COARSE] and [4K H PHASE-FINE] is enabled.
External reference signal format and the specifications for the G/L ON indicator displays on the front panel
The external reference signal formats that each system format can apply genlock are as follows.
Genlock cannot be applied when there is no external reference signal input into the <REF IN>terminal.

: Can lock. The G/L ON indicator lights.

×: Cannot lock. The G/L ON indicator blinks.

—: Cannot lock.
The G/L ON indicator does not light.
