Connecting to the remote operation panel (AK-HRP200G)
Part of the functions can be remotely controlled by connecting the remote operation panel AK-HRP200G (optional) to the <LAN> terminal or the
<REMOTE> terminal of the camera.

When connecting to the <LAN> terminal of the camera
f
When you connect AK-HRP200G via wired LAN and perform network settings of the camera and the AK-HRP200G, the camera automatically enters
the remote control mode. For the settings of connection, refer to “Setting for connection with remote operation panel (AK-HRP200G)” (page 188).

You can exit the remote control mode by disconnecting the network from the AK-HRP200G, or removing the network cable and switching the camera’s
<POWER> switch from <OFF> to <ON>.

When connecting to the <REMOTE> terminal of the camera

When you connect AK-HRP200G and set the <POWER> switches of the camera and the AK-HRP200G to <ON>, the camera automatically enters the
remote control mode.

Remove the AK-HRP200G, or set the <POWER> switch on the AK-HRP200G to <OFF> to disable the remote control mode.

Switch functionality in remote control mode
The following switches and buttons on the camera do not function in remote control mode.

Recording and playback operations in remote control mode
Playback operation cannot be performed from the remote operation panel AK-HRP200G. You can only perform the operation from the camera.
Recording operation can be performed using the following procedures.

For normal recording/loop recording/simultaneous recording
Start and stop recording: Press the <VR POWER> and <STORE> buttons simultaneously.

For interval recording/one-shot recording
Start recording: Press the <VR POWER> and <STORE> buttons simultaneously.
Stop recording: Press the <VR POWER> and <SCENE4> buttons simultaneously.

For one-clip recording
Start and stop recording: Press the <VR POWER> and <STORE> buttons simultaneously.
Clip linking in one-clip recording cannot end from the AK-HRP200G. You can only perform the operation from the camera.
Remote control unit connected to the camera
When AK-HRP200G is connected to the camera, AK-HRP200G button operations are as follows:

Skin tone detail button (<SKINDTL>)
Operation varies depending on the lighting status of the button.

When the button illuminates, operation is available with the menu setting value of the camera (setting for skin tone detail).
