General Hints
•
Mount the DewPro MMY30 vertically whenever possible to prevent solid particles or condensation from entering
the bypass line.
•
Mount the DewPro MMY30 downstream from a shut-off valve to depressurize the DewPro MMY30 when
removing it from the process pipe for maintenance or field compensation.
CAUTION!
Before installation, please read all instructions. The DewPro MMY30 is designed to be
mounted on pressurized systems. Take all necessary precautions when mounting or
removing the DewPro MMY30.
CAUTION!
Do not over-tighten the DewPro MMY30 connections! The outlet fitting is connected to
the bypass block with a gasketed G 1/4 straight thread which will seal properly if the
fitting is simply hand-tightened. When connecting an external device, hold the fitting
with a second wrench when tightening the connection. If the inlet is equipped with a
gasketed G 1/2 straight thread, the seal is obtained by simply hand-tightening the
DewPro MMY30.
CAUTION!
If you are installing the DewPro MMY30 into a pressurized system (up to 10 bar),
depressurize the system before installing or removing the sensor. Pressurized systems
require stainless steel compression fitting.
