The sensor becomes polluted and the coincidence is too high.
The set value of the test dust is 141.10 (Target channel).
The actual value of the test dust is displayed (Current channel)
4.
Change the factor with
Calibrate PM amplification
until the set
value and actual value are the same
Example:
Set value (Target channel): 141.10
Actual value (Current channel): 138.87
Current factor: 10.4%
Set the factor to 10.6%
New actual value: 141.10
Extended measuring
range
A 2-point calibration is required to calibrate the measuring range. There is a
selection key for 2-point calibration above the diagram. First calibrate the
particle size for
Calibration Point 1
. Then calibrate the particle size for
Calibration Point 2
.
5.17.2 Calibrating the volume flow rate
Perform this calibration every six months.
An external flow meter is required to calibrate the volume flow rate.
To calibrate the volume flow rate, proceed as follows:
1.
Select
Settings > Size Calibration
2.
Connect a flow meter to the sample collection tube
Observe the flow direction on the flow meter
The fine dust measuring device and the flow meter must indicate the
same value.
The volume flow rate of the fine dust measuring device is 1.4 l/min. The
permitted difference between the fine dust measuring device and the
flow meter is +/- 0.15 l/min.
3.
Set the constant (
flow control constant
) if needed
If the flow meter displays a lower value, a smaller constant has to be
entered.
