Printing measured values
If a printer is installed on the operating panel and the operating panel is con-
nected to a network, you can print the measured values.
To print the measured values, proceed as follows:
1.
Select the
Analysis
menu
2.
Select the desired measurement from the list
If applicable, deactivate an existing selection with
deselect
3.
Export the measured values with
export
4.
Select this menu item
The measured values are printed as a report.
This report is identical to the PDF report.

Charging the device
The status bar shows the charge level of the device. You can charge the op-
erating panel and the measuring unit together. The operating panel heats up
slightly while charging.
Proceed as follows to charge the device:
1.
Connect the charging cable to the device
2.
Connect the charging cable of the operating panel to the micro-USB
serial port

Device calibration
You have to check the measuring device on site and perform a calibration if
necessary.
There are 2 different calibrations:
• Particle size
(Size Calibration
)
• Volume flow rate
(Flow Calibration
)
Notes
The device has to run at least 1 hour for the calibration.
5.17.1 Calibrating the particle size
Perform the calibration as follows:
• Every 3 months
• More often in case of frequent use and high fine dust concentrations
Only use test dust. The test dust is included in the scope of delivery.
To calibrate the particle size, proceed as follows:
1.
Select
Settings > Size Calibration
2.
Shake out the test dust by knocking the container
E.g. knock the container against the edge of a table.
This causes the particles in the container to swirl up.
3.
Move the container of test dust to the sample collection tube
The swirling particles are sucked into the sensor.
Be careful not to “pour” any particles into the sample collection tube.
