Access to firmware via Remote Desktop

The device can be operated via a Remote Desktop connection when
needed. The firmware user interface can be accessed via the Remote
Desktop app on a PC or mobile device (smartphone or tablet).

This type of access is particularly helpful for devices with a weatherproof
housing (

AQ Guard Ambient

), since these devices cannot be operated

directly on the screen.

IOS and Android offer suitable apps for mobile devices.

When you attempt to connect to a network with your PC, your company’s
safety guidelines may not allow a connection to be established. Please
discuss this with your IT administrator.

A connection can be established via WiFi or the device’s hotspot. A LAN
cable can also be used to connect to a PC.
