MAC Filtering
MAC filtering allows you to block certain devices from connecting to your wireless network. To block a
device, go to
Settings > Advanced > MAC Filtering
. Click on
Add
. Under Device Name, give it a name
to distinguish it and enter the device’s MAC address. You will then see a list of access points on the
network and pick which AP and even which band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) you want to block the device from.
After making the necessary changes, click
Save
. You will be redirected to the main MAC Filtering page.
The main MAC filtering page allows you to edit the entry created, remove it or just apply the changes.
Please note that your MAC filtering changes will not be activated until you hit
Apply
.
