10.  Connecting to a Dumb Terminal

10.1

The 9-pin RS-232 connector on the front of the HLU-D41 allows you to connect your system to a
dumb terminal or PC running a terminal emulation program with a standard RS-232 cable.  Once
connected to a dumb terminal, you can access the maintenance, provisioning, and performance
screens.  Figure 6 shows the HLU-D41 DB-9 RS-232 I/O.
