Quick Start Guide
IMPORTANT
1.
Installation should be conducted by a qualified professional according to local electrical codes.
2.
Protective equipment should be used when handling a current transducer (CT) on a live conductor.
3.
Do not make adjustments to the BG04's internal wiring.
4
If you believe the BG04, CTs, or leads have been damaged, do not attempt to repair or use them.
COMPONENTS
Chase nipple
BG04 Multi-circuit monitor
with lock nut
Ground wire
Voltage lead(s)
CT leads with quick connectors
Current Transducers (CTs)
with quick connector
TOOLS NEEDED
12" adjustable wrench
-- to tighten chase nipple
12" adjustable claw pump pliers
-- to tighten lock nut around chase nipple
#2 Phillips screwdriver (minimum 4" shaft)
-- to remove device cover if needed
#5 drill bit
-- to make mounting holes in wall
#5 screws
-- to attach mounting tabs to wall
INSTALLATION STEPS

The BG04 does not need to be configured prior to use.
Mount BG04 to wall or device using attached mounting tabs
Run CT leads from the BG04 to device being monitored
Connect CTs to the conductors
Connect CT tails to the CT leads coming from the BG04
Run the voltage leads to the voltage source and connect by line and ground
Once power is supplied, the BG04 will automatically begin to transmit data.
