6. TIME SYNCHONISATION WITH HOPF
Integration of the Hopf 6039 board in the PC GTW.
The date/time messages receive from SCADA allows to update the Hopf clock. This facility is
available for CDC II, DNP3 and T101 protocols using a register key: only one key can be
activated (i.e. only one protocol can update the Hopf board if the GTW supports several
protocols.
The Hopf board has an IRIG-B output used to synchronized a C264 Master Clock: no time
accuracy is defined between the time provided by the SCADA and the time in the Master
Clock. The PC GTW cannot be considered as Master Clock.

If there is an HOPF 6039 board and if the user wants that the GTW updates date/time
received from SCADA to the HOPF board, a registry key must be declared.
This functionality is used only for following SCADA protocols: T101, DNP3 and CDCII.
The HOPF 6039 board has an IRIG-B output that can be connected to a C264.
T101 protocol:

Key: "Hopf_present" - This indicates if a HOPF 6039 is present or not: 0 not present ;
