Instructions for Use
Filling with oil
1.
Fill with oil only up to 15 mm from the top of the tank. Do not
overfill.
2.
Use the dipstick to check the oil level. Use 10W-40/15W-40 or
SAE30 mineral oil. Fill to the correct level before putting the
grinder into operation.
The grinder comes without oil. Therefore, remember to fill it up with oil before
starting! The engine can be damaged if it runs without oil; this is not covered by
the guarantee.
Starting the engine
1.
Lock the forward movement of the grinder by pulling the brake handle all the way
back.
2.
Make sure that the throttle is set at low speed.
Do not release the starter cord, but hold back slightly with your hand and let it slowly
recoil to avoid damaging the starter.
3.
If the engine is cold, close the choke valve.
4.
Lift the grinder wheel 10–12 cm off the ground by pushing down on the handle – and
maintain this position.
The next step can make the grinder wheel rotate, so keep everyone at a
distance.
5.
Pull lightly on the starter cord until you feel resistance and then pull hard.
6.
Open the choke valve again.

Set the throttle at high speed. If the engine is cold, let the engine idle (at low throttle)
for a few minutes before beginning to work.
