Use during the summer
When the unit has been switched off for a longer period of time, it should be switched on
approximately once a month to ensure it does not seize.
To avoid condensation on the electrical parts of the frost free unit, remove the plastic
screws to the thermostat and the thermal cut-out to create venting.
In the case of overheating, the unit has a
thermal cut-out that switches off the
heating element and the pump. If the
thermal-cut out has tripped, the RESET-
button must be activated manually. It is
positioned under the bottom behind the
screw cover of the unit.
The thermostat is factory set to 15°C. This
setting can be changed from 0–
40°C. There is a plastic screw in the end
cover that can be unscrewed. In the hole
there is a screw that can be turned using a
screwdriver to change the temperature. It
is recommended that the value in
Denmark is set to approximately 8–10°C.
