Safety instructions
Read the user manual thoroughly before operating the torque wrench.
1.
This torque wrench is a precision tool, which is solely designed to tighten screws, bolts
and nuts to the desired torque.
2.
Do not use the torque wrench as a crowbar, hammer or a replacement for an ordinary
ratchet wrench.
3.
Do not exceed the torque wrench’s maximum capacity. Only apply weight to the
handle and do not use any form of handle extension.
4.
If special sockets are used, set the torque as shown in the section about this on page 6.
5.
Always ensure that you adjust the torque wrench to the precise torque, cf. the
specifications otherwise you may under-torque or over-torque the fastener, which can
lead to serious damage to the equipment you are working on.
6.
Never under any circumstances dismantle the torque wrench. Internal components
that are under tension can cause serious injury if they are unintentionally loosened.
7.
The torque wrench must be calibrated at regular intervals. The calibration must be
checked at least once a year after normal handling or after overloading or after 5,000
tightening actions (“clicks”).
