Pipe cutting
Thread cutting:
•
The pipe is pushed into the machine through the steering cartridge (1) and collet chuck (9), both of
which are tightened to hold the pipe in place.
•
Choose the right threading dies for the actual pipe size (make sure they are also mounted in the
right order)
•
Lower the thread cutting head (5) and lock it in the working position.
•
Set the feed stop to the desired thread length. When the thread length has reached the set length,
the cutter head opens automatically.

•
Start the machine. Check that cutting oil is running out through the cutting head.
This is done by
pressing the foot pedal, the machine will run if you press the pedal
.
•
Turn the tool feed handle (8) so that the cutting dies start threading. Once threading has started,
release the handle and the machine will finish threading itself.
•
While the machine is cutting the thread, drip a little oil through the lubrication holes (10) for the
shaft between the guide cartridge and chuck.
•
After threading, stop the machine and tilt the threading head up.

Pipe cutting:
•
Place the tube in the machine and clamp it in place.
•
Open the pipe cutter (4) so that it can go down over the pipe.
•
Start the machine and slowly tighten the pipe cutter more and more until the pipe is cut.
•
After cutting, stop the machine and tilt the pipe cutter up.
Deburring:
•
After cutting, deburr the inside of the pipe.
•
Lower the deburrer and lock it onto the tool holder (7).
•
Start the machine. Turn the tool feed handle (8) and insert the deburrer (6) into the pipe.
•
When deburring is complete, stop the machine and tilt the deburrer up.
Feed stop, can be slid back and forth to
adjust thread length.
